A 1992 Plymouth Laser AWD Turbo...looks
like a Cavalier, performs like a Ferrari! Ok, maybe not quite
as nice as a Ferrari, but let's just say if you have a Grand
Am you really ought to think twice about pulling next to a turbo
Laser at a light!

Anyway, I found this car by pure luck!
My girlfriend (at the time) was looking for a new car when I
saw a sale at a local dealership. She had to work, so I told
her that I would check on cars for her. I went to the dealership
and drove a couple cars for her and was talking to the salesman.
He was into cars also, so we started "BSin." I had a '96 Toyota
Tacoma 4X4 extended cab at the time and my lease was almost
up. I explained to him that I either wanted another 4X4 truck
or a car that was fun to drive. He said "I have the perfect
car for you." He showed it to me and I thought it was ok. He
made me read all the stickers on it...Turbo Intercooler...All
Wheel Drive...DOHC 16 valve. I said it made it more interesting.
He went and got the keys; I took it down the road and he told
me to "get on it." So I STOOD on it!!! My head hit the back
of the seat and we were off!! Right at that moment I knew I
had to have this car. I went home and talked it over with my
parents and they said if I liked it, get it. I called the salesman
that night and said I'd take it. There's really not too much
done to it (yet). I just put carbon fiber headlight covers on
it and a hood protector. I had to buff it out to get the shine
back, of course. I sorta have a system in it. Two ten inch Wave
Formz, an Alpine amp and Alpine head unit...all from Phase II
electronics of Warren, Ohio. All mid's and highs are stock.
I will paint it in the future and get silly with engine modifications
so look out Camaros and Firebirds!!!
